So the anime that I have been watching for the past week is Speed Racer. Yes the one from 1967. I got hook when I saw the movie and than I when and got the show. the one in the Mach 5 tin. Its pretty good for being from the 60's. I still wish that they would release Galaxy Express 999 on dvd and in the U.S.

To be or not to be

Well for most of the month of december I thought about if I was going to continue to blog, well I came to a conclusion, I will continue to blog. It might be few and in between, I hope not, but I need the motivation to blog and the time. So, for the past month I 'v been involved with Gaia, anime, manga, and Persona 4. Between all of those I haven't been able to blog. Another reason is my english class, this was a assignment and now that class is over I really didn't have a reason to continue. I decided to continue blog.

I've changed it once more to GTO. This is one of my most favorit anime series I have ever watched. It great for a lot of great laughs, if you can get the jokes. I still working on getting the whole series on DVD, you can't find in a lot of stores, so I have to go online to get them. Some other thing I moght add are: Gurren Laggan, Blood +, Mythbusters, Robot chicken,a nd any thing else that pops into my mind. If you have any other idea on what I should add let me know or leave me a coment.

So this time I was givin the topic what would I if I won the lotto. Well, I don't really know, I could spend it all! Yeah, that sounds like a good idea, but what to spend it on? Well I planing a trip with my brother to Japan and all of the money would help, but I would spend it all in Akiharbra. But I could do it with out that, so I just going to be silly. I would buy a swiming pool and fill it with gold coins and go swiming in it, it some thing that I always wanted to do. Build a giant fight robot and go have some real fun. Buy a rocket car and go down I-70. Fly to the moon. Travle the world a few times over. Buy a lot of home, but the market isn't good right now. See I really don't know what to spend it one, I would just problly spend on a lot of little things like cloths, anime, cosplay, video game, and some other things. Those little thing is what I want most of all, nothing really big.

Edward must Die!

Now I don't like Twilight or any thing about it, the fangirls are the worse of all! With the release of the movie pushed the whole series into the mainstream and into the mind of every one. Now why do I hate Twilight, well for a few reasons. The fangirls are the main reason, if you say anything bad about they will kill you, I wish I was kidding about this. The fact that every were I go I see thing for the movie. I start to hate anything that become over saturated in the media and in merchandise. It kills a lot of great show that I liked. The vampires are the other thing about twilight I don't like, compared to other vampires I know, the rank at the bottom. Well the did get the part about vampires being very beautiful is true. When I whant a book about vampires I'll read Bam Stroker's Dracula. My other favorite vampire is Alucard from Hellsing. Hell, any one from Hellsing could easily kill every one from Twilight, when I mean easily I mean it. So I hope it downs down fast and never comes back, if it doesn't I will make sure it will!

The reason from this is that I'm so excited about the release next year and the fact that I'm a huge fan of the graphic novel and Alan Moore. Well, I have taken a liking to all of the new technology in today's world. Mostly because it helps me kill time in more ways than one. My 360 is one of the best example of this. With it I can do and will do nothing for hours at a time, thanks to this my blogs have taken a hit for this. Combine that with the Internet and well you'll never see me ever again. Most people though don't like new technology, but like my Ipod, I sync up with new tech in matter of seconds.

Today I going make yet another 180 from my previous blogs, yeah I seem to do that a lot lately. So, I going to be talking about some of my most favorite games that I have played, also one that I can remember playing as well. They may or may not be of any you may have heard about before. So, lets get started with the first game on my list, Radiata Stories. Released by the company Square-Enix back in 2005, so its a somewhat old game, but I really loved it. Well for any one who knows, Square-Enix is known for their rpg's, more so for the Final Fantasy series. To be frank here, I like that series, but I don'y think that it's the best. Radiata Stories is a litle different from the rest of the titles from them. The stlye its the biggest thing that I noticed about it. The story is goes like this The game begins with Jack, the protagonist, joining the Knights of Radiata under the command of Captain Ganz Rothschild, son of Gawain Rothschild, the alleged killer of Cairn Russell, Jack's father. Also in his brigade is a young girl named Ridley Silverlake. One day, while trying to broker a trade agreement with the elves, Jack’s brigade is attacked by blood orcs. The knights slay the orcs, but Ridley is seriously wounded during the battle. Her life is saved when she merges her spirit with that of an elf who was killed by one of the blood orcs. After Ridley’s father, Lord Jasne, finds out what happened, he pressures Prime Minister Lord Larks into expelling Jack and Ganz from the knights.
Jack goes on to join another group of mercenaries from Theatre Vancoor. Ridley is promoted to captain, but guilt over the expulsion of Jack and Ganz slowly builds in her, and she rebels. Ganz is unable to pass the test necessary to join Theater Vancoor, and through several encounters joins Void, the bandit guild.
As the game progresses, tension builds between the humans and the nonhumans. One day, the Radiata knights are sent to persuade the dwarves to continue trade with the humans. During negotiations, however, Cross Ward, leader of the squadron of knights, disobeys his orders and has the knights attack the dwarves. Those dwarves that are not killed in the battle are enslaved. This starts a war between the humans and the nonhumans.
Days later, Jack is visited by Ridley, who tells him that she is going to visit the elf capitol city. At this point, the player must choose to either follow Ridley, or attend a meeting at Radiata Castle with Larks.
If the player chooses to attend the meeting, Jack is reinstated as a Radiata knight. He learns that the nonhuman people are protected by four dragons, based on the four elements. One was killed by Cairn Russell father many years ago, and another was killed by Cross Ward when he enslaved the dwarves. Jack is ordered to accompany Cross and General Dynas to kill the remaining two. Jack also encounters Gawain and vows to kill him.
If the player follows Ridley to the elf city, Jack joins the fairy creatures in the war against the humans. Cross kills the dragons instead of Jack, who attempts to defend the dragons. Jack also learns the truth about his father's death from Gawain, who joins Jack.
After the dragons are slain, Ridley visits Jack and informs him that she is going south to meet her destiny. After a final skirmish between the humans and the fairy creatures, the king’s advisor turns into the Silver Dragon Aphelion, one of the dragons that is to bring about the end of the world. Aphelion flies south, in the same direction that Ridley went, so Jack follows.
At the castle, Jack finds that the Gold Dragon, Quasar, the other apocalyptic dragon, plans to use Ridley as a vessel to destroy the world. If Jack followed the human path, Aphelion kills Ridley to prevent this. Enraged by Ridley’s death, Jack kills the Silver Dragon. He then leaves Radiata. If Jack followed the nonhuman path, he is able to prevent Ridley's death, and defeats Aphelion. Jack and Ridley then return to Radiata together. So as you can tell theres a lot to it. I found that the non-human side is shorter but has a better story to and the human side is longer but not as good.

Well, I'm going to take a break from the music blog series, I just don't feel like do it right now. This is probably because I'm felling a little emo like I some times do. So, lets talk about something a little familiar, but still a little different. So, lets get it started. Battle royal, this what I fell like talking about today. I don't know if anyone knows what this is. Well, for of those who do welcome back and for those who don't get ready. So it was first a book, movie, and than manga series. So this series is not for the faint hearten. When the book was first released in Japan, it caused quite a panic. How you might say, well lets get into that. It was written by Koushun Takami back in 1999. The book is about a group of students from a junior high school who are sent to an island and are forced to kill each other on national t.v. Sound good, doesn't it. Well that's the book in a nut shell. It takes place in a alternate time line were Japan has become a police state and controls every thing. Within that society they create whats called "The Program." They use this a way of controlling the masses from uprising against them. So does this starting to sound like your cup of tea. So, every year they choose a new group of students to sent on they program to kill each other. The book is pretty graphic of is, but you don't get to see anything, so that's were the movies get going. There is a lot of realistic and graphic violent to last most people a live time, but I like it. So, now that we got those the basic, lets get down to the plot. Well the only thong that you really need to know is that every one dies except for four students. Yeah, that's it, every one dies. Now there is some great details in between the start and finish. For those who what to know, I say one thing, read the book, watch the movie, or read the manga.

Well for those of you who look at my blog you may have noticed something new. This is the new video section of my blog "things you should be watching" and it is about a few things that I like to watch. Its going to change every once and a while. For right now it is a series of persona 3 mini shows. For those of you who want to watch, I guessing it won't be a whole lot of you. But, for those of you who do, you'll need to know a few things. They are not in English and there are no subtitles to go with them. They will only make sense if you have played the game. But, with all those things aside, I hope you enjoy them. Also when I do change them, some will properly be ether in English or will have English subtitles.

Als u dacht dat de bloedvlek kind leek zwaar, dan ben je niet weet Rammstien. Rammstien is one of the best bands I have ever head of for many reasons. All they sing about is sex, violent, and utter destruction. Even their name comes from the bloodiest airshow disaster ever. It killed Sixty-seven spectators and three pilots and 346 spectators sustained serious injuries in the resulting explosion and fire. So, from what I just told you we're going to have so much fun, yeah! they are the oldest group I listen to, they started back in 95. They are a tanz-metal group that comes out of Germany. They also sing only in German and that makes them so cool. They are banded from playing in the U.S after they played in Worcester, Massachusetts during June of 99. They've also been also been the spot light for many reasons, no of the good. All of that aside, they are still one of my favorite bands and are completely unknown by the masses. Like I said earlier, they sing about sex, violent, and mass destruction. I can prove it. lets start with my favorite songs, Hilf Mir. This song is about a little girl who plays with fire when she is told not to and then is engulfed in fire and burns to death. If you thought that was bad well we're just getting started with the meanings of their songs. Mann gegen Mann is man against man which is about gays, Spiel mit mir is come play with me and is about incest between a brother and sister, Mein teil is my part and is about cannibalism. So this is just a taste of what Rammstien is about and what they bring to the world. Don't worry, this is the worst its going to get. But always, see you next time.

Be in it for killing myself

Welcome to part two of my series of music blogs, yeah! So now we will talk about an other one of my favorite bands, yeah! Blood Stain Child. Remember when I said that Franz was the tamest of my bands well, I wasn't lying when I said that. When you see me, do I look I listen to Japanese Melodic death metal, well I do. So this is one of the heaviest bands I listen to, there are about two more. They come out of Osaka, Japan. I already liked this city because of the great food and now that they come out of Osaka, I loved it even more. They were originally named "Visionquest" and then became Blood stain child in 2000. they have four Cd's out right now with no new Cd's coming out any time soon. The reason why I them is that they are not only metal, but they also mix in some techno. Early in their career they sounded like a traditional death metal band, but as they relased more music they became their own band with a different taste with them. So give them a lsten if you have a chance and until next time with my music blog series.

Van Tango is king of the night and keeper of the night

This blog is going to a part of a larger blog about the music I listen to. If I tried to fit it all this blog, it would just be too much for one blog. So, for this blog we'll go with one my oldest bands, Franz Ferdinand. They are a new wave indie band out of Glasgow, Scotland and because of that most people don't know who they are. They are also named after the Archduke by the same name.I first got hooked on them after they were used in Paradise Kiss. Right now they have two Cd's out right now with a third coming out early next year called Tonight. The first two are Franz Ferdinand and You Could Have It So Much Better. Franz was the first to be released in 2004. even though they have been playing since the 90's, this is what helped them get into the big leagues. The song if different at best, I say the sound like The Beatles. They also use Russian avant-garde art with a lot their music art and music videos. For the most they are a band that is somewhat unknown to most of the people and they are one of the tamest of the bands I listen to as you so find out in the next few blogs.

High Fasion and hot passion

A few nights ago I decided to watch something in my collection that I like to watch, but don’t get a chance to do. The name of the series is Paradise Kiss. This is something that men don’t really supposed to watch. Because of this I get strange looks by others when I talk about this one particular show. It pretty much a shojo with some . Shojo is designed for female readers and Yaoi is for male readers who are gay. Show now you can kind of see why I get strange looks from a lot of male otaku’s. Well tell them I say “Who the hell cares what you think is great, you just going to watch Naruto!” So, enough of me yelling about every one else. Paradise Kiss was a manga that was created by Ai Yazawa , who is a pretty famous shojo manga writer. It runs for twelve episodes long which is kind of normal for a lot of anime series. It was released about two years ago by a company that no longer works in the U.S. It is about a group of fashion students who go to YSD, a famous fashion design school in Tokyo. Now that I have the base line established, lets really get into it. The characters are as followed; Yukari, a.k.a as Caroline , the model that was chosen by ParaKiss who life before was all about studying to get into a high-ranking collage for the sake of her mother, George, the leader of the group who Yukari falls in love with a has a relationship with too, Isabella, the long time friend of George and who supplies the group with all the money they need he is also one George’s many lovers, Miwako the only female member of the group and she is the lover of Arashi as well as the few people who is able to connect with Yukari, and Arashi the punk rebel of the group who sometimes butts head with a few of the ideas of the group. There are a few other characters of Paradise Kiss, but are that important to mention. So now that you have the characters down now we can get to the high fashion and hot passion. It starts out with Yukari wondering why her life is so boring, well that all chances when she runs into Arashi. The group of ParaKiss is looking for a model for their Fall Fashion show at YSD. After she ends up in their hang out she meets the rest of ParaKiss, Isabella and Miwako. She soon says no to the whole thing, but this doesn’t stop George from keep trying. After she says yes and her life is changed forever. She soon like being the model for ParaKiss and is also torn between the life she’s known and the life she wants to live. She starts to live a double life. At first she doesn’t know if she made the right choose, but it takes a few episodes to find out she wants to life this way. This doesn’t go over well with her mother, who wants her to life the way she’s been living for her whole life. She runs away and starts living with George. At the same time Miwako and Arashi relationship is on the rocks. Arashi thinks that Miwako has been seeing an older friend and she is trying to rekindle their old relationship. After a few more episode of drama, tears, love, confusion, and sex every one soon starts to remember what they came together in the first place. They finish the dress in time for the fashion show only to lose and come in second place. Now this is one the shows that follows on of my principles for movies, book, plays, manga, and anime “There is no such thing as a happy endings, only good endings.” Yukari fixes her relationship with her mother and becomes a very popular model, Miwako and Arashi also fix their relationship. But, it not all that happy for long. ParaKiss soon breaks up because they see that they can no longer believe that they can keep making cloths together. George leaves Yukari and leaves for America with Isabella. This nearly tears her apart, but he does leave her his every piece of clothing he every made of a farewell gift. Fast forward a year and we find out the Yukari has become very successful and is marring soon. She soon receives a letter form America and it is from George. He has become a very successful fashion designer for Broadway. As the series starts to end, she says “It a comedy, but I know when I see it, I’ll cry.” This is Paradise Kiss and it is an anime series that is greatly over look and that I recommend to any one is willing to go into the unknown.

December 9th

December 9th, what's the importance of this date, well every thing. To every one else this date means nothing. On this date a few things will happen, the U.S release of Persona 4 and the Dark Knight. When these two things come out, well lets just say that's you won't see much of me any more. Why you might ask well, persona 3 was a one hundred hour game and persona 4 is longer then it, so that's why you won't see much on December 9th. People also know that I saw the Dark Knight five times in the cinema and well I plan to double that number when I own it. These are two tools of mass procrastination and hopefully I won't have much school work between the 9th and when I'm done with both. That might be a very long time, well I did play and beat persona 3 a total of four time. That's over 400 hours of my life gone away. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, well it kind of is. Because I 'll be tempted to only play and watch both and my schoolwork will go out the window. So, lets hope that its not going to come down to that. I'm going to need a lot luck on December 9th.

I can see spirits

No I'm not talking about the sixth sense, I'm talking about xxxHolic. Well you guessed it, this is about more anime or manga, well yeah. These are things I like, so I'mm going to talk about it. From some of the other blogs of my classmates they talk about things that they like. Most are talking about snow. Enough about that, lets get back to the main piont of this blog, xxxHolic. Well, this is another one those that isn't well know to the masses. The art work isn't like a lot of other manga out there. Little to no screen tones, large sound effect on every page, or a "story this far section in the front of the book". The art work is very simple, but also very well done. I've only read up to volume 4 of the series, so this blog is going to be over those volumes. The stroy of xxxHolic is done by Clamp, a group of four female manga artist. I have seen or read most of there works, xxxHolic is one of their newest works to date. The plot is as followed Kimihiro Watanuki is a high school student plagued by yokia, spirits with a strong attraction to him. The spirits are invisible to others and encounters with them are extremely troublesome. When he stumbles into a shop that grants wishes, however, events in his life promise to become more unusual.
The shop is owned by Yūko Ichihari, a mysterious and beautiful witch of many names and esoteric renown. For a price, she offers to grant Watanuki's wish to be rid of the spirits. The price, according to Yūko, must be of equal value and so, as payment, he temporarily becomes Yūko's part-time employee.
Watanuki's job consists of small errands dealing with the supernatural and household chores. His love interest, Himawari Kunogi, and "rival," Shizuka Dōmeki, occasionally join him in his work as per Yūko's request. The three become increasingly close despite Watanuki's annoyances with Dōmeki. So for the first for volumes of this manga are pretty simple, there really isn't much of a direction of plot at this point. Why I like it so much is it goes into detail about many Japanese myths, spites, as well many other things cultural about japan. This is also something that I recomend to people who want to read something different.

Super duper

With there are many things that I believe in, but for this blog I believe that I am awesome. You might be saying how? Well its easy, I just am. I just to what I want when I want to do any time I want. If I want act differently, well I just do. If a song comes on that I like, well, I start to dance. I don't care who's around me, it doesn't matter. An example of this is at work. A song that we play during the day came on, so what did I do, I danced. My co-workers looked at me like I was crazy, but I was just doing what I do best, being awesome. When it rains really bad I also like to dance. It makes the day seem better when your singing in the rain and dancing. I also don't do what ever one else does. When they wear jeans, I wear shorts. Its all about being awesome.

Going against the current

Movies, who doesn't like them, well there might be a few of you out there. For me though, I can't get enough of them. Most of the time I'm watching a movie from my vast collection. But, recently I was ask to pick and talk about my favor it movie, well, I CAN'T DO THAT. I just can't pick just one movie, so I won't, I'll pick a few. These movies I'm going to talk about, some of you might not of ever heard of them. That good because some of my favorite movies are not mainstream, well some are in my own community of people. So, lets get started with movie number one: A Clockwork Orange. Well this movie is fairly old, it was made in 1971 and is a satirical film adaptation of a book by the same name. Well this movie is out there, way out there, but still very well done. So, the protagonist of this film is Alex, played by Malcolm McDowell and in a nut shell the movie is pretty much him going a round and doing what ever he wants. This ends up going bad. He kills writer some one while in the process of breaking in there house, also while raping his wife. Well after that he gets caught and goes to jail. While in jail he subjected to a new kind of reform. Images of ultraviolet are showed to him while given drugs that induce vomiting. After this he can no longer do any thing that he was able to do before. this goes on for a while until he the writer comes back and tries to kill him for what he did. Because of this Alex is now able to do what was able to do before. Now its time for movie number two: Neon Genesis Evanglion: The end of Eva and Death and Rebirth. This movie is an anime film so it won't be known to most, but is know by anime fans. This is popular by most, I think that's its a good series, but I won't say that's its the greatest anime ever. Well, enough of that, the movie is pretty much a remake of the last two episodes of the series. The first movie, Death and Rebirth is a recap of the entire series in a Tour DE force. So, the show is about a group of three children who a given the task of saving the world, well from whom, from the angels. they pilot three giant mechas that fight of these sixteen angels. Well, there not really angels,, they are what mankind could have become. The end of Eva is about what happens after the kill every angel. when they are done the group Seele decides to go froth and start the end of the world. The reason they were fighting the angles is that they were trying to fuse with Adam, the first angle. Because they did not do that Seele try to use one of the Eva's. They do and every dies. But during this it is also a tour DE force in the process. IT is a really good movie that I can't explain with words, so go and watch it. Movie number three is: The Evil Dead. Now I don't know if this is a well known movie, most people I talk to don't know about this movie so I guess its not mainstream. The is a B-list horror movie, so that means a lot of blood. When I mean a lot of blood, this movie set a record for the amount of blood used in this movie. This is also a older movie made in ether in the late 70's of early 80's. The movie is about a group of teenagers who go to a cabin in the woods. Sounds familiar, well it is, but so much better than all of those teenagers in the woods movies. So, this cabin was used by an archaeologist who was resurrecting a lost book called the "Book of the Dead". Well this book is used to resurrect evil sprites that are old than time its self and they find it and read from that book. So one is possessed by one of those spirits, and other is raped by trees, yes trees. So it is up to Ash, played by Bruce Campbell. He kills every one who becomes possessed by those spirits. He does all of this while trying to survive till dawn. between then and now there is a lot of violent and blood and lots of it. He does survive only to be possessed by those same sprites. The film has two squeals that are just as good. Movie number four and the last film for this list is: Asian Cult films. This is a genera and not just one film. There just to many to talk about, so I'm going to group into one group. These film are not mainstream in any way at all. Most are funny, strange, artistic violent, b-list, and awesome. Even by their standers they too are not mainstream. there is a magazine that talks about these films, try reading it some time. Some of there movies include Machine Gun Girl, Suicide song, Kamikaze Girls, Linda, Linda , Linda to name some of the one I just watched last week. They are not in English, so those who don't want to read, well go away. These are just some of my favorite movies and later I might just name some of my movies in a later blog.

Vampires are cool

SO BOARD! Nothing to blog about, I've run out of ideas to write about. Wait! Hellsing, yeah, Hellsing. Well now I have something to blog about and that is about Hellsing. No, not Hellsing the really bad movie with Hueg Jackman in it, the manga. Well, I guess that they're kind of the same, but not really. OK, OK enough about that and more about whats really important.Hellsing is a manga by Kohta Hirano and is about what else, vampires. It goes much deeper than about vampires, it has a secret Vatican organization, an English organization that kills vampires, a super vampire that kills other vampires that is employed by Hellsing, and Nazi vampires. What? Nazi vampires, yes, Nazi vampires. OK( second time) there does seem to be a lot about vampires, but at least there so cool! First off, lets start of about the stetting and every thing else that I need to talk about.Like I said it a manga, don't ask me what that is right now, so Hellsing mostly takes place in England, well most of the characters are English. The anti-protagonist is Alucard, the super vampire. He supported by many other strange characters, his master Integra, his underling Seras, and the butler Walter. these are the main characters with in Hellsing. They fight, well every one else in the manga, the Vatican, the other vampires, and the Nazi vampires. OH yeah! did I say that's it really, really violent. When I mean violent, I really mean it. But its so COOL!!

Nowhere and No where

When ask to go to a place at my collage and and take notes on how it looked, I knew just were to go. I like going to areas of the school that are untouched by most of the students here. So I when to a place I came a cross today. I'm not going to say were it is, mostly because I want it to stay the way it is.When I when there, it was the same way it was before. Down the hall there are still people talking on thing only they care to talk about. Unaware that I'm just a few feet from them. I sit at one of the few chairs that are in this room and just like me, I'm sure that they like this room the best. In front of my sit a lone Starbucks coffee cup on the one desk. I don't know how long it was left here to sit before in meets its end, but I'm also sure that it too is happy here.It is cool in my happy place. Nice and quite too, but just below me, a differnet story can be told. In this great hall I stare at all the people coming and going not able to stop for anything or anyone. I envy them. They all have a place to go, but not me, I'm still in my white room with my lone friends.Were I sit in my nice quite room, I can see more people outside also comeing and going, still unaware that I'm just a couple of feet away from them. There isn't a lot a light in my room, just some sun peering from just some of the windows down from me. In the space next to me I can see a giant mural on the wall. Under him I can see a lone person at a desk typing away on things that only concern him. In the space next to me again, I see a bee that has long since been alive. Much longer then I've been here for I think.Its almost time for me to return to back to class were it isn't like this place that I call my own. Its almost never quite. A theach is always talking, this doesn't mean that her students are always listening to her. I only hope that can return to my happy place and that it is still the way I left it, cool, calm, and quite. If you come here, I just ask that you don't come when I there.

Lost in paradise

In every September, on the 13, 14 , and 15, the Marriott in the Denver Tech Center is transformed in a paradise for all who enjoy anime or manga and every thing in between. For on those three day Dan Desu Kan comes to Colorado. This con has been going on for about 14 years now and this was my first con here in Colorado. I only went on Saturday, because I just wanted to get a taste and that I did still wanted to work. But, even though it was for only a day, it was the most fun I had in a long time.It got ready to go about nine o'clock and I got there about ten, people were there already on Friday. When I got there, I had to get registered, and the line was already and hour wait. This was actually fun, how, well while I was in that line I still got to see every one who was cos-playing. Cos-play is short for Costume Play and that is were you dress up as your favorite character from any anime or manga, which I will get into later. After which, and when in that line you have no personal space, I ate lunch and I recommend the you bring it with you, it save you money for whats important.Later I started to walk around and see what was there and I wasn't disappointed ether. There is a lot to do, an other reason why I went on Saturday because most of the events are on this day. I did the music videos, dealers room, guest visits, and a few other things. If you do decide to go, try and do ever thing you can. the place that I spent most of my time is in the dealers room. In there you can find and buy any for your collection. Besides watching anime and reading manga, most "Otaku" collect thing related to it, so this is what time room is for. I managed to get a xxxHolic wall scroll and an Alucard figurine for my collection.After that I walk around taking video on my camera, its not very good, I'm still trying to learn, of every thing and on I saw. This went on for about a few hours. You'll see a lot of people cos-playing their characters, some are by them self and others are part of a group. Ether way, they're having fun doing it, I plan do do it next year as well. This whole thing goes on in till eight and I thought it was time to go home, I still had some homework to get started. So in till next I going to get repaired for next year with reservations and my costume.

For my English class, I had to create a collage about my identity, and at first I didn't want to present it in fount of the class, which is was requirement in the project. I thought to my self that this would be a great opportunity to let every one know who I really am. I some one who is different and weird and enjoys it. So, my collage reflected who I was s a person. This is were I start to feel unconformable with it, because like I said I'm "different". I listen to music that make be unconformable and watch things that people frown upon. I don't let people know that I listen to death-metal, tanz-metal, and post-rock and that I watch a lot of anime and comic book movies, I saw the Dark Knight five times. They think I'm a "nerd" at this point.When I to class on Wednesday, I say that there were a few people who were just like me in a way. One person liked to listen to death-metal like me and a person who watches anime like me. So, after looking and listening to a few different collages, I start to be a little more conformable about this collage. In the end I said to my self, "The hell with it, I'll go next, its only for a few minutes". I went and it went over pretty well, a few people look at my weird, but who care I'm who I'am and that's the way I like it.

Real change is coming

Last week in Denver, the Democrats held their national convention and Obama gave his speech. Well, his speech was nothing more than the same old Democratic propaganda. But this week, I had the chance to hear from some people who are really going change America and they are going change it for the better.On Thursday of this week, when I'm writing this, McCain gave his speech at the end of the Republican National Convention and it was sigh of relieve for me. When he spoke to us, he wasn't speaking down to us, he was speaking to us. He seamed to be more in touch with every one in his audience.The message of his speech is that he's going to bring America together once more, but we will be united as a whole. He's going to have our government work for us rather than against us. He's going to stop the war in Iraq, and win it too. He's going to do help our economy and the housing market. He's going to he every America in United States.Well, doesn't this sound like Obama's speech, well it is and isn't. Unlike Obama, McCane is really going to do the things he says he's going to do. Throughout his political carer, he's been fighting stop all of the corruption going around Washington, whether its in his party or not, help us from being dependent on foreign oil and gas and drill he in the U.S., help improve our schools and give parents the right to choose where to place their children in schools, end the war in Iraq. This is something that Obama hasn't done and won't do. All he's done is passed an other corporate welfare bill for oil companies.As he says "We're all God's children and we're all Americans." and with Senator Palin I believe that change is going to happen and it is going to be for the better

Time for change

The last time the DNC was in Denver was back in 1908 it was't very popular, but give it a hundred years and you have the most watched DNC ever. What makes this one so different, well the anwser is Obama. On Thursday he gave he nominee speech to the United States. What was his purpose to this speech, it was a speech about change and a promise to America. In his speech, he says that he is tried of Bush's failed promises and McCane's old politics. He says that it is time for the GOP to stand down and let change happen. Well, what is this change that he wants, its change for the better. He wants lower taxs for middle class families, better heathcare, more jobs in the U.S., and better education for todays children. He also promisesto help clean up the enviroment and help find better fuel sources. All things that he says that McCane can not do for us. He wants us to become a whole, not, a divided America. He says "America, we are better than these last eight years. We can do better than this." Well maybe we can. He plans to tap into natural gas reserves, invest in clean coal technology, and harness safe nuclear power. His new tax policies will help 95 percent of americans by help lowering their taxes. He belives that the Repuplicans idea that rich will help the poor and that you need to get yourself up and out of poverty just isn't going to work anymore. He belives in that investing into early childhood and better teachers, that we can better ourselfs in the global market. All in all what he means is that as President, he help change and promise the U.S. a better future.

Non educational text

Some text in the world can be very educational or infomative, but then we have some that is not. Most of the non educational text in the world, or at lease I belive, has to do with todays media and youth. Most time I watch t.v. I always mute the ads because I fell that they are a waste of my time. This goes for most of the channles, I don't watch anything but the history channle, the disovery channle, the news ,and G4, mostly because most channles don't offer anything except for some mindless self pleasure. I've try watching some of the "popular" show and I just can't seem to find the anwser why they are "popular". Back to my other point, about todays youth, most time I see some one "texting" it normally about how boaring their live right now at school or at work. Sometimes, this what I really love, is when text about when the next party is and how much beer is there is going to be. My co-workers say this is how to have a good time. Yeah right, they are just a product of their time and they just thing ands act like everone else. Thank to Mtv and VH1, they tell them what is "good" and "bad" and they just follow suit. I just hope that end soon and everyone grows up.
